Teaching approach: - I am a staunch believer in student-centric teaching. I believe it to be my objective as a private tutor to help my students tackle the aspects of their studies that they find particularly challenging.

- It is my belief that an ideal student-teacher dynamic constitutes a shared responsibility of cooperation in order to better equip students to overcome their respective hurdles.

- I provide worksheets/assignments for regular evaluation of the students' learning level, and based on the results, I plan the best course of action for further teaching. It is all done in correspondence with the student and their guardians.

- My teaching approach ideally aims to follow the students' school's progression rate. However, it is always preferable to start topics before it is done by the school so the student has a better understanding and more time with the topics taught. This further helps in better engagement in class discussions, which creates good impression of the student on the teachers at school (which is more useful than one might initially think).

Why I teach: Academics has always been my major interest in life. This has led me to my present specialization in English as a subject, but most of all, as a medium of communication which helps one comprehend other disciplines or subjects more efficiently.

- I have been limited to tutoring one student from Vivekananda Mission School (ICSE) in West Bengal for the past three years through grades 5, 6 and 7, due to being engaged in my own academic pursuits till now. Though this particular student has severe attention deficiency and hyperactivity issues, he has been able to maintain a constant 75-80% marks in all my subjects over the years, which is truly commendable.
