- I provide worksheets/assignments for regular evaluation of the students' learning level, and based on the results, I plan the best course of action for further teaching. It is all done in correspondence with the student and their guardians.

- My teaching approach ideally aims to follow the students' school's progression rate. However, it is always preferable to start topics before it is done by the school so the student has a better understanding and more time with the topics taught. This further helps in better engagement in class discussions, which creates good impression of the student on the teachers at school (which is more useful than one might initially think).

Why I teach: Academics has always been my major interest in life. This has led me to my present specialization in English as a subject, but most of all, as a medium of communication which helps one comprehend other disciplines or subjects more efficiently.
I have been fortunate enough to have some great teachers in my life and, thus, I would like to emulate the same for future generations of students. It is an honour to accompany future bright stars in their quest for success and happiness in life. Furthermore, I believe that learning (regardless of discipline) never stops, even when one becomes a teacher.

Teaching journey: - I have religiously participated in Olympiads (in Delhi) in my school days, and have earned gold in Science (2015-16) and English (2017-18). (I have earned numerous awards over the years
for extra-curricular activities as well).

- I have graduated Bachelor of Arts in English with Honours (1st class) under Calcutta University.

- I have recently completed Master of Arts in English (final semester result awaited) under Calcutta University. [I have maintained a scholarship/stipend for both the years of said course.]

- I have submitted and presented articles and papers that have been selected and published in the college magazine and seminars during both my B.A. and M.A. courses in my respective colleges.

- I have been tutoring (officially) for the past three years. Previous to that taught many of my neighbourhood kids when I could, free of charge.

Student progress: - I have (unofficially) taught multiple students from various schools in Gurgaon, Haryana, under CBSE board, namely Rotary Public School, Chiranjiv Bharati School, Blue Bells, Saint Soldiers Public School, and DPS.

- I have been limited to tutoring one student from Vivekananda Mission School (ICSE) in West Bengal for the past three years through grades 5, 6 and 7, due to being engaged in my own academic pursuits till now. Though this particular student has severe attention deficiency and hyperactivity issues, he has been able to maintain a constant 75-80% marks in all my subjects over the years, which is truly commendable.
