Teaching approach: I teach through storytelling as much possible giving examples. Moreover, I encourage students to provide their own understanding writing them down followed by my review and corrections. I provide them with brief charts / flash cards and take frequent quizzes and regular tests.
Why I teach: I teach the subjects I love. During teaching, I get a scope to do research and upgrade my knowledge. This helps me both personally and career wise.
Teaching journey: I have been teaching from my high school days and is considered a good tutor who needs their concepts clear and get prepared to get good grades in subject. There are more than few instances where a student was either fearful or disinterested in a subject and often both. In three months I could get them to like the subject and in six months make remarkable improvement in exam results.
Student progress: I have taught around 3-4 students each year bringing total number above 20
They were mostly from three schools namely Laban Hrad Vidyapith AD, Laban Hrad Vidyapith for Girl's, Ultadanga Sponsor HS school for Girls, Bhagabati school, Bidhannagar govt. School etc, all from West Bengal Board.
Other than confidence and liking the subjects, they improved the scores by 25-50% from previous score and half of them reached to top 25% from bottom 25% of the class in terms of scores.

Teaching approach: (1) For every questions in book or any other for that matter, I take student opinion about it.
(2) I don't impose my own idea on student, only correct the wrong idea a student has.

Teaching approach: I don't actually follow the books, I prefer to go in deep of a topic in the simplest way for the students. I think everyone can understand even the hardest thing if it's taught by the easiest way.

1 from west bengal board this year got 640/700 in my subject 97.
