Calcutta toppers, my students have sought me for my personal touch that I successfully bestow. Moreover, my second Masters degree in Film Studies (JU) help me to teach with examples from a much broader spectrum.
My skills and strengths lie in comprehending and writing abilities, which have received prior recognition. My lectures commingle literature with films and philosophy, and with theoretical science too. Beyond teaching, I run an online e-magazine called "The Leaky Pot" which deals with writing, movies and alternative journalism, and I work as a freelance writer for several companies.
Why I teach: I am currently serving as a Visiting Faculty at the Department of English, Sister Nivedita University, Newtown, Kolkata.
Teaching journey: My students have been successful in their respective fields by getting into esteemed colleges and universities.
Student progress: I have taught students from Patha Bhavan, St. Xavier's Collegiate School, St. Xavier's Institution, Heritage, Mahadevi Birla, Pratt Memorial, Salt Lake School (CA), Sri Sri Academy to name a few. I am proficient in teaching ISC, WB Board students, and undergraduate courses in English literature.
