Why I teach: I teach the subjects I love. During teaching, I get a scope to do research and upgrade my knowledge. This helps me both personally and career wise.
Teaching journey: I have been teaching from my high school days and is considered a good tutor who needs their concepts clear and get prepared to get good grades in subject. There are more than few instances where a student was either fearful or disinterested in a subject and often both. In three months I could get them to like the subject and in six months make remarkable improvement in exam results.
Student progress: I have taught around 3-4 students each year bringing total number above 20
They were mostly from three schools namely Laban Hrad Vidyapith AD, Laban Hrad Vidyapith for Girl's, Ultadanga Sponsor HS school for Girls, Bhagabati school, Bidhannagar govt. School etc, all from West Bengal Board.
Other than confidence and liking the subjects, they improved the scores by 25-50% from previous score and half of them reached to top 25% from bottom 25% of the class in terms of scores.
