About teaching
As a tutor, I make sure that students are able to interact with me. I firstly understand their levels, and then be flexible as per their needs and preferences. I firmly believe that they need to ask their questions to clarify the concepts in a better way. Besides, I take weekly tests to check the progress of my students, and guide them accordingly.
I love teaching, as it helps me delve into the subjects in depth. I am able to introspect my knowledge in the subject while teaching. This helps me to communicate with my students, that renders me to get into newer perspectives of the subjects.
As a teacher, I reckon that even a smaller improvement of my students is an achievement for me. For instance, in 2018, my first student didn't know to read and write Hindi despite being in Class 5, he could only mug it up without understanding. He made me learn it with persistent hardwork, and he was finally able to do it efficiently in a span of 2 weeks. There have been students who didn't know phonetics, and when they could comprehend and spell the texts effectively. In fact, when my students could practise Grammar, when in the initial days, they struggle with basic nouns, pronouns, etc. There have been such instances that could be recalled.
I have taught multiple students since 2018. It's difficult to keep a count on the same. However, by now, I have taught 20+ students.
