l be provided as per the needs of the student, class, board, and school but creativity and individuality will definitely be encouraged. An average class will be about 1.5-2 hours long which will be spent on doing practical exercises on grammar, writing, answering textbook questions, etc. and the chapters will be read through with detailed discussion on the themes and background of texts keeping in mind the syllabus and scoring parameters.

Why I teach: I want to be a teacher because I enjoy gaining and sharing knowledge through interactions with people. Young learners are steadfastly curious and eager to learn which fulfils me intellectually as I can learn and grow with them.

Teaching journey: I have been teaching since as early as 17, when I was in high school myself. The transition into a professional tutor was seamless and encouraging as I had lived and perceived experience of the job, my mother being a tutor. I hope I have managed to create in the students that I taught the same respect for knowledge that I myself have which most fortunately, has been reflected in their scores, which have never been disappointing.

Student progress: I have 8-12 taught students across all major boards such as ICSE, CBSE and the State Board. I have experience teaching students from schools such as Calcutta Boys' School, La Martiniere for Girls Schools, Calcutta Girls' School, South Point High School, Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar, etc.
