and give home assignments on a weekly basis. I help my students get acquainted with all sorts of problems, from beginner level ones to more difficult ones, so that they can develop problem-solving skills of their own, which is useful for examinations. At the same time, I always try to put more stress and rigor on theory and foundations, so that they can get an essence of what they are studying.

Why I teach: I consider teaching to be an absolute noble profession. I love to see my students blossom, widen their horizons, learn more, and get established not only as great academicians, but also as great human beings. Teaching is a process where the teachers not only help students build their own careers, but get to learn new and enriching lessons from their students as well.

Teaching journey: I have helped many students transcend their fear in mathematics (which is an exceptionally common thing) and develop a strong liking for the subject.

Student progress: I have taught 16 students till date (class 9 or up).
6 of them from classes 9 and 10 (WB board, ICSE, CBSE). Have taught them physics and mathematics. All of them have obtained 85%-up in both the subjects. 4 of them have obtained 90%-up in both.
3 from class 11 (WB and ICSE). Have taught two of them physics and mathematics and one only mathematics. All of them have obtained 85%-up in both the subjects. Two have got 90%-up in both and one 90%-up in only mathematics.
3 BSc students. One with mathematics honours and two with mathematics as pass course. All of them have obtained 80%-up marks.
2 MSc students. Both have obtained 80%-up marks.
Am currently teaching 2 competitive exam students (maths, QA, logical reasoning).
