f fear. I always try to mould myself into the teacher my student wants me to be. I do not believe in scolding or being strict on my students, I rather mix with them in a friendly way so that they trust me and never hesitate to interact.

Why I teach: I have had amazing teachers all my life. I always wanted to be like them. I am also motivated as a teacher when I see the smiles that come over the students faces when they finally grasp a difficult topic. Teaching provides me the chance to better each student, both academically and as a person.

Teaching journey: I started teaching when I was in Class 12. My teachers had referred a few students to me. Since then I started my journey as a teacher. All my students have shown remarkable progess in their academics. But what I consider my most important accomplishment in teaching is the relationship I was able to forge with my students. I know I made a lasting impression on them and that is why they still call me up when they need me to help them with their academics or their projects.

Student progress: I have taught English, Geography and History to 2 students (St. Paul's Mission School) (ICSE), both of them have passed with more than 85% marks. I have taught Sociology to 2 students from class 11 to 12 (CBSE), both of them have passed with more than 94% in Sociology. They used to study in Ashoke Hall. At present I have 1 student who is in class 5 and studies in St. Joseph's College.
