What motivates me the most is seeing a student gradually grow, excel, and flourish in a subject they once struggled with. I believe every student possesses intelligence in their own unique way—the real challenge is helping them discover it and understand how to use it.

Watching that transformation unfold, and seeing the difference in a student’s confidence, understanding, and eventual results, gives me an incredible sense of fulfilment. That visible change in a student’s outcome is what drives me to keep pushing harder—it gives me an adrenaline rush like nothing else.

I have been teaching students across all standards for the past 10 years, and the most rewarding part of this journey has never been just their exam results. It’s the bond we build along the way.

The best thing I could ever receive from my students is knowing that even after they pass their exams and move on to the next chapter of their lives, they still remember me, stay connected, and remain attached to the bond we shared.

For me, that is the true meaning of being a teacher.

Over the years, I have taught nearly 15–20 students across the ICSE, CBSE, and West Bengal Board curricula. My students have come from reputed institutions such as Loreto Convent, Kendriya Vidyalaya (Salt Lake), St. Stephen’s School, The Newtown School, DPS Newtown, Sura Kanya Vidyalaya, Deshbandhu Vidyapith, and several others.

Most of my students who appeared for their Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations secured marks in the **80–90% range**, while a few scored in the **70s**, particularly those who had initially struggled due to a lack of proper academic guidance.

However, I consider my greatest achievement to be the students who started in the **40s and eventually reached the 70s**. Seeing that transformation—from confusion and low confidence to clarity, consistency, and measurable improvement—is what makes me feel truly successful as a teacher.

For me, teaching is not simply about helping a student score higher. It is about identifying where they are falling behind, understanding how they learn, and helping them realise that they are capable of achieving far more than they initially believed.
