I also use regular practice and small assessments to track progress and improve steadily. Most importantly, I try to make learning engaging so students actually enjoy the process.

I am into teaching simply because I genuinely love it. I enjoy sitting with a student, understanding where they’re struggling and slowly helping things make sense to them. That moment when they go from confused to confident is honestly the most satisfying part for me. Over time, this stopped being just something I do and became something I truly care about. With my journey towards becoming a school teacher and the experience I already have, teaching feels like the one thing that fits me naturally.

My teaching journey started over 7 years ago with private tuitions, and since then, it has been a continuous process of learning and growing alongside my students. Over the years, I have worked with students of different levels, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and overall academic performance. Academically, I have completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Applied Psychology and am currently pursuing my B.Ed., which has strengthened my teaching approach with both practical experience and theoretical knowledge. More than certificates, my real achievement has been seeing my students progress, overcome their difficulties, and become more confident in their studies.

I have been teaching for over 7 years, and during this time, I have usually worked with around 10–15 students at a time. I have always preferred keeping a limited number so that I can give proper attention to each student and understand their individual needs.

I have taught students from different schools. I have taught 2 students from Nava Nalanda School from Class 8 to 11, and 3 students from The BSS School from Class 6 who are now in Class 10. I have also taught 2 students from New Horizon School, 5 students from Alipore Multipurpose School, and 2 students each from Chetla Boys High School and Chetla Girls High School, mainly in Classes 11 and 12. I have also guided students from Diocesan School and from my own school, La Maternelle High School. These students have primarily belonged to ICSE and State Boards.

I have seen many of my students improve steadily over time. I have helped them increase their marks, but more importantly, I have helped them build confidence and reduce their fear of studies. I have worked with students who struggled with basics, and I have seen them grow into more independent and confident learners. I have also had long-term students who have progressed with me across classes, developing a stronger understanding and a more positive attitude towards learning.
