Why I teach: I am currently pursuing PhD in IIEST ,Shibpur and currently nearing the completion of my course. I would consider teaching as a passionate job during my sabbatical that would help me grow as a teacher and let me be happy while interacting with curious students.
Teaching journey: Currently, as a PhD scholar, I have to take laboratory classes of students at my college and sometimes assist teachers in teaching theory classes as well. Previously , I have taught Classes 8-12 for two years and I have gained considerable experience and happiness while doing so. Though I am not a professional teacher in any college right now, but I intend to be in academics in future as teaching has always been an enjoyable journey for me
Student progress: I have taught Mathematics and Physics to around 7 students of class XII and 5 students of Class XI from various schools like Calcutta Public School, Auxilium Convent, Central Modern School, South Point, and a few other schools. They have secured 80-90% in their respective examinations. I have taught 6 students of class IX and X who secured above 90% in Mathematics. I have also taught 2 students of Class VIII, one student of class VI during a span of one year and they got around 95-96 in their examination in Mathematics and 90 above in Physics.
