I want to leverage my educational knowledge & people management skills in consistently delivering knowledge to students and educate them.I love to teach, interact with learners, love to exchange knowledge.
My journey as a teacher began with a deep passion for language and learning. From the very beginning, I believed that education is not just about delivering knowledge—it's about inspiring minds, building confidence, and shaping the future. With this vision, I started my career in teaching and have been committed to continuous growth, both for myself and my students.
Over the years, I have had the privilege to teach a diverse group of students, each with unique strengths and learning styles. I have focused on creating a classroom environment that is inclusive, engaging, and supportive. Whether I am teaching grammar, literature, or creative writing, I always try to connect lessons to real-life experiences to make learning meaningful and memorable.
Achievements:
Successfully guided many students to achieve excellent results in board examinations and competitive tests.
Developed innovative lesson plans and teaching aids that made learning enjoyable and effective.
Conducted workshops for parents and teachers on child-friendly teaching methods and stress-free learning.
Received appreciation from both students and parents for being approachable, patient, and motivating.
Mentored junior teachers and contributed to curriculum design and evaluation processes.
For me, the biggest achievement is seeing my students grow not only in knowledge but also in confidence and character. Their success, curiosity, and smiles are the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.
1. Average Number of Students I Have Taught:
Over the course of my teaching career, I have taught approximately 400–500 students across various classes ranging from primary to higher secondary levels. This includes both regular classroom teaching and additional support through private tuitions or group coaching.
I have experience handling:
Full classroom batches of 30–50 students in school.
Small group tuitions of 5–15 students for focused guidance.
One-on-one mentoring for slow learners or advanced students.
2. Their Schooling and Board Name:
My students have been from a wide range of schools under different educational boards, including:
West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE)
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE)
ICSE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations)
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)
They studied in reputed schools in both urban and semi-urban areas, where Bengali was offered either as the first or second language. I have adapted my teaching methods according to board-specific syllabi and exam patterns.
3. Their Achievements (Through My Teaching):
My students’ success has been a constant source of inspiration. Some of their notable achievements include:
Consistent Academic Excellence:
Many students secured 90%+ marks in Bengali in Madhyamik (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) board examinations.
Several students topped their schools in Bengali and received subject proficiency awards.
Language Competitions:
Students trained under my guidance won prizes in elocution, recitation, essay writing, and Bengali debate competitions at inter-school and district levels.
Creative Achievements:
I encouraged creative writing, and some of my students have had poems, short stories, and essays published in school magazines and local literary platforms.
Progress with Weak Learners:
I’ve worked closely with students who initially struggled with reading, spelling, or expression in Bengali and helped them build strong foundational skills, resulting in marked improvement and boosted confidence.
Character Development:
Beyond academics, my students have grown into more empathetic, culturally aware, and expressive individuals, able to appreciate the depth and richness of the Bengali language and literature.
