imate the importance of pitch. Beginning Mathematics teachers make the fatal mistake of thinking that mathematics is easier than it is, or that their students can grasp ideas that they can’t. There is no shortcut in knowing how to pitch a mathematics lesson.

I teach lessons that are truly tailor made to my student. The way I teach will be informed by them and their ability, the way I structure my questions, the way I might even ask the questions, are all driven by that ability, and where they are in their development of mathematical thinking.

Exam rubric (what the exam boards want to see and how they want to see it) will feature heavily and weaknesses will be consolidated over time. Because I have been an examiner for certain mathematics exams, I know how the papers are marked, and how best to structure answers (or not, as the case may be) so full marks can be gained.

I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today.

What is the best achievement one can get after being a teacher?

I think I can answer this! I have been a teacher for more than 15 years and am still looking forward to every new session with the same enthusiasm.Best I cannot say, but I would like to mention these:

1.I feel perpetually young-always surrounded by kids ranging from 10 to 17 . So am full of zeal as every generation adds to my knowledge, curiosity is peak high,loves their harmless pranks,naughtiness and always learning latest trends, tricks.hacks from them.In short, am very much in love with my job.Each day is different,Thanks to them!

2.The satisfaction of seeing my students reach places and the immese pleasure I get is beyond comparison when they take the trouble to acknowledge and meet me after so many years!

3.The opportunity to be a mentor, guide and counsellor! Its not because am the best..but the trust with which they share the most personal experiences is heartwarming! The feeling I get to be just there for them when they cannot share or connect with others gives me great satisfaction!

I have taught 50-55 students in west bengal board, 30-35 students in CBSC board and 25-30 students ICSE. All of my studnets passed with minimum 90-95% marks , 10 students qualified the Olymiad.
