Why I teach: I love to teach children and go down to their level of understanding to make them understand the topic or lesson so that they don't find it difficult to communicate with their teacher

Teaching journey: I had been taking home tuitions since 10years and have taught many students from several institutions. I love to teach maths and children also finds it very interesting to indulge into activity based classes for subject like maths

Student progress: I have taught many students from DPS Ruby park, Calcutta Girls School, Loreto House, Heritage, Shri Shikshayatan, Pratt Memorial School, St John's Diocesan Girl's H.S. School etc, also most of them have passed with 90% and above marks and has improved alot in their respective subjects.

Teaching approach: my approach is adapting with the need of the student. i believe in innovating and implementing customised method to facilitate teaching learning. the first thing that i take into account is the need of the student,his/her goals and expectetions. then comes his strength and weakness. all these variables are important to plan a teaching learning method conducive for him/her.

Why I teach: Teaching students give me a feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment. I am very enthusiastic about teaching students as it helps me to share my knowlege which helps a person to overcome their difficulties.

Teaching journey: Making the student feel confident in their studies. Able to teach them time management skills which helped them to improve their scores in the examination. One student had some difficulty in reading a passage. But with patience and practice I have been able to solve that problem.

My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems.My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don’t lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students’ homework for them! I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student’s understanding and technique

I chose teaching as a professions because I love the impact one can have on individual children, especially here at elementary level. Of course it’s a great responsibility, but at the same time I cannot imagine devoting my life to something else, especially since I love being around children–which is likely the second reason why I want to be a teacher. I am here to share my knowledge and skills with my students so that the subjects become easier to them. I enjoy teaching, talking to children, listening to them, trying to understand their emotional world, and be a good role model for them. At the end of the day, we should do a job in which we see some meaningful purpose

I would say, the most important accomplishment in teaching is the relationship with my students because I know, I made a lasting impression on them. They usually come back after the final exam because somehow, I saw them, appreciated them, was amused by them and opened myself for them. For whatever reason, they saw me, appreciated me, was amused by me and then, opened up themselves up to me.

I have taught 10-12 students in our locality of wb, cbse and icse board. Most of my meritorious students score in between 80%-90% whereas the poor students are also able to overcome them in a good position as my main target is always to rise up the poor students.
In drawing tuition I have taught over 50 students of all kind of boards and various schools. Most of my students use to get prizes in maximum drawing competition.

Teaching approach: I always take a personalize approach. I have seen many students who have some doubts about a topic which the do not express clearly and remains unclear to them . Because of that they try to avoid the topic or subject and become weak in that subject for ever. A personalize approach may only resolve their problem. That is why some student require home tutor for one to one approach.

Why I teach: Teaching itself is a very noble professional that is why many people from various walks of life come to teaching profession at some point of time in their professional career. Most motivating factor to me in this profession is when I look back and see many successful men/women who were my students when they were very young with a full of dream. I would like to see their smiling face forever.

Teaching journey: It is my endeavor from my side to achieve my students dream and I am lucky enough to get it.
