I give them notes and help them to get good marks and also ate genuine understanding and an ability to answer exam questions. That is why many students, regardless of their ability, seek to get extra help from a private tutor. You can find more about this in my blogpost here.
My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the students’ personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject.
My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don’t lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students’ homework for them!
I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student’s understanding and technique. I also give a lot of emphasis to some of the less obvious but vital skills such as essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the effective use of numbers and graphs.
I believe passionately in the huge value of tutoring to students and take great satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their full potential.
I love giving my knowledge to the young generation

I have been certified by my institutions for best teacher and as a friendly tutor
I have taught around 35 students and they are from icsc and cbsc and have got good marks and has improved in there studies
Teaching approach: The first and foremost thing that I focus on is the student's comfort. Every student is special and needs to be treated with extra care which is why I go over a certain topic/chapter for a multiple times till the student is confident about it. Language is not a barrier in my approach. I am willing to repeat myself in the student's preferred language.
Explaining each and every line of a chapter, preparing flowcharts and special notes is what I stress upon. I prefer regular oral revisions after completion of every topic and taking small assessments so that the student doesn't forget what has been taught.
Why I teach: I believe teaching is a form of gift. Imparting knowledge among young minds gives me immense happiness which is why I look forward to teaching as a full time job. There is nothing that satisfies me more than watching my students standing out than rest of their classmates and reaching heights in academics.
Teaching journey: I have been teaching since I was in Standard 11 myself. It began with teaching my neighbor's children and soon developed into a passion. In first year of my college, I started two batches at home. However, due to the pandemic I had to shift to an online mode of teaching. I can say that my biggest achievement in this field has been helping students who were in utter distress. Their schools were unable to set things up for regular online classes. But with me, they were able to receive education. They learned with me and faced all the examinations without any fear.
Student progress: I have taught 8-10 students, belonging to classes 2,4,6,7,9 & 10. Four of them belongs to Stepping Stone School, Rishra (ICSE), two are from St. Mary's School, Rishra (ICSE) and rest from Narayana e-Techno School (CBSE). All of them scored between 87-90% with two major exceptions. One of them scored 97% in Standard 6 and another one scored 94.5% in Standard 9.
Teaching approach: I am to foster a sense of confidence and self belief in my students. I strive to explain complex concepts in clear and easy to understand manner. I adopt my approach to suit different learning style. I inspire students to ask questions explore new ideas. I encourage active participation and engagement through questions, examples, exercise etc.
Why I teach: I love this profession. I want to share my knowledge with new generations. I want to develop our society through my students.
Teaching journey: At present I teach many students, among them some of my students carry good marks that a great achievement for me. In this way I want to teach my upcoming years. Besides education I also inspire my students to participate another activity like spots competition, art and craft competition etc. Some of my students also participate in this type of activity. So it is also another achievement for me. I hope, I inspire my students in my entire journey.
My aim in teaching is to create a situation where students become enthusiastic about understanding the subject matter themselves and consequently deeply integrate new content and frames of meaning into their way of thinking.
I chose teaching as a professions because I love the impact one can have on individual children, especially here at elementary level. Of course it’s a great responsibility. In my view, teaching is more a mission than a job really, especially in the uncertain times we live nowadays.
What are your achievements and teaching journey?
I try to stay involved with my students and continually give feedback. I ask a lot of questions to make sure the students understand what they are doing and keep interactions flowing. The most rewarding feeling to me is the expressions of gratitude from my students.
