About teaching
My tutoring approach is student-centered and concept-based. I focus on building strong fundamentals rather than rote learning, especially in English.
I first assess the child’s level and then plan lessons accordingly. My teaching includes phonics, reading, vocabulary, and sentence formation to improve both understanding and spoken English.
I use interactive methods like activities, storytelling, and worksheets to keep the child engaged and interested. Regular practice and revision are an important part of my teaching to ensure long-term learning.
I also maintain a positive and friendly environment so that the child feels comfortable asking questions and gains confidence over time. Additionally, I keep parents regularly updated about their child’s progress.
I chose teaching because I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them learn and grow. I find it very fulfilling to see a child understand a concept and gain confidence in their studies.
Teaching also allows me to make a positive impact on a child’s academic foundation, especially in subjects like English where strong basics are very important.
I believe I am patient, supportive, and able to connect well with students, which helps me create a comfortable learning environment for them.
For me, teaching is not just a job but a responsibility where I can contribute to a child’s development while continuously improving my own skills as well.
One of my key achievements is that my students have shown noticeable improvement in their confidence, reading skills, and ability to form sentences correctly. I focus on making learning interactive and easy to understand, which helps students perform better in school.
I have also successfully handled small batches as well as one-on-one sessions, adapting my teaching style according to each child’s learning needs.
My journey as a teacher is continuously growing, and I am always working on improving my methods to give the best learning experience to my students.
