About teaching expand_more
I follow a student-centered and practical teaching approach. I first understand the student's current level and learning gaps, then explain concepts step by step using simple examples and real-world applications. For Computer Science, I focus on building strong fundamentals through coding practice, problem-solving, and interactive exercises. I encourage students to ask questions and regularly use short assessments and revision sessions to track their progress.
I am interested in teaching because I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping students understand concepts in a simple and practical way. As a Computer Science graduate, I especially enjoy teaching programming and computer fundamentals. Teaching also helps me continuously improve my communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills while making a positive impact on students' learning.
I have a strong academic and technical background in Computer Science, with hands-on experience in Python, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI. I completed an industrial MERN training program and gained practical experience through my internship, where I worked on real-world software projects.
One of my key achievements is qualifying for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 at the State Level, where I worked on developing technology-based solutions as part of a team. I have also developed projects such as an AI Career Intelligence Platform (HIRELYZER), an AI Financial Advisor (TRANZIFY), and other AI-based applications.
My teaching journey is driven by my interest in sharing the knowledge I have gained through these projects and experiences. I focus on explaining concepts in a simple, practical, and interactive manner, helping students build strong fundamentals while developing problem-solving and programming skills.
1. **Average Number of Students Taught:** 5–8 students
2. **Schooling & Board:** Students were primarily from schools in and around the Behala area, following the **CBSE and ICSE/State Board** curriculum, depending on the student.
3. **Students' Achievements:** Through regular concept-based teaching, practice, revision, and doubt-solving, students showed improvement in their academic performance. Some students were able to achieve **around 80% or above in their examinations**, particularly after strengthening their fundamentals and practicing regularly.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding the student's individual learning gaps, explaining concepts in a simple way, and providing sufficient practice and revision to improve both confidence and academic performance.
