About teaching
In my teaching way, I would like to know the students better and the way they want to learn and that’s how I’ll do my best to help them to understand their subjects and solving the issues they are having. It depends on the student's learning style, needs, and goals.
Personalized Learning: Tailoring instruction to meet individual needs, interests, and learning styles.
Inquiry-Based Learning: Encouraging exploration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Project-Based Learning: Focusing on real-world applications, hands-on experiences, and collaborative projects.
Differentiated Instruction: Adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests.
Socratic Method: Using open-ended questions to foster critical thinking, analysis, and discussion.
Flipped Classroom: Reversing traditional teaching methods, where students learn basics at home and work on activities in class.
Real-World Connections: Relating academic concepts to real-life situations, making learning relevant and meaningful.
Feedback and Reflection: Providing constructive feedback and encouraging self-reflection to promote growth and improvement.
Building Relationships: Fostering a supportive, positive, and empathetic learning environment.
For me teaching is not just a job, it offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives, shaping their minds and inspiring curiosity. As a teacher, I'll have the chance to share my passion for a subject with others, igniting the same enthusiasm in my students. With job stability, diverse opportunities, and room for personal and professional growth. For me teaching is about a career that brings a sense of purpose and satisfaction.
Throughout my journey, l've seen my students grow academically and personally, and it's been incredibly rewarding to witness their progress and achievements. My experience has not only honed my teaching skills but also deepened my understanding of different learning styles and needs, allowing me to adapt and innovate in my teaching methods.
Over the past five years, l've had the privilege of teaching students from diverse educational backgrounds, including CBSE, ICSE, and West Bengal Board. My experience spans a wide range of subjects, from languages like Bengali and English to sciences such as Biology, Physical Science, and Environmental Science, as well as Humanities subjects like History and Geography, and even Mathematics. I've worked closely with 6 CBSE students, 4 ICSE students, and 8 West Bengal Board students, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and requirements of each board's curriculum.
