About teaching expand_more
My tutoring approach is student-centric, rooted in clarity, concept-building, and confidence development. I strongly believe that every student learns differently, and I customize my methodology to suit individual learning styles. My teaching process involves breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible parts, using real-life analogies and practical examples to make the subject matter relatable and engaging.
Over the past five years of part-time teaching, I’ve honed a methodology that blends traditional teaching with modern tools—interactive sessions, visual aids, problem-solving workshops, and regular feedback loops. While knowledge delivery is important, I focus equally on building curiosity, analytical thinking, and self-confidence in students.
I ensure a safe, inclusive environment where students feel heard, respected, and encouraged to ask questions. I track progress through formative assessments and adapt my strategies to ensure each student achieves tangible academic growth.
Teaching, for me, is more than a profession—it's a purpose. My journey into teaching started out of a passion for sharing knowledge and watching students transform under the right guidance. There’s an unmatched joy in helping someone move from “I can’t” to “I did.”
Having been shaped by some exceptional educators myself, I’ve always felt a strong responsibility to give back to the learning community. Teaching allows me to stay intellectually engaged, while making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
In every classroom or session, I see an opportunity to inspire, empower, and enable learners to dream bigger and reach higher. That’s what keeps me going.
I specialize in subjects related to engineering, mathematics, business studies, and logical reasoning—backed by my academic background in engineering from Jadavpur University and an MBA from IIM Sambalpur.
What sets me apart is my dual exposure to technical and management education, coupled with real teaching experience. For the last 10 months, I’ve been engaged as a teacher cum trainer at Sharda University, which has further sharpened my ability to handle students across diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels.
My unique teaching method involves interactive case-based learning, gamified quizzes, and concept-mapping, which makes even difficult topics intuitive. I emphasize a mentorship approach—guiding students not only academically but also in their mindset, study habits, and soft skills.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability are key traits I bring into my sessions, ensuring that every student receives the support they need, whether they are struggling or aiming for excellence.
Average Number of Students Taught: Around 10–12 students over the past few years.
Schooling and Board Name: Primarily students from DPS Ruby Park (CBSE) and JD Birla (ICSE).
Their Achievements (Through My Guidance):
All my students consistently scored above 90% in their respective subjects.
Two of them qualified for national-level Olympiads.
One student topped their class in Grade 9.
These achievements are a reflection of the effort we’ve put in together, and I always take pride in tracking their growth—not just academically, but personally as well.
