About teaching expand_more
I start by figuring out where the student is getting stuck, because guessing usually wastes time. A few questions or a quick look at the student’s work shows whether the issue is a missing concept, a misunderstanding, or unclear instructions. Once that’s clear, I explain the idea in a straightforward way—no jargon or unnecessary complexity—connecting it to things the student already understands and using simple examples so the concept actually lands. Then the student tries it themselves, because that’s the fastest way to reveal what’s solid and what still needs work. When I give feedback, it’s direct and specific, pointing out exactly where the reasoning slipped and how to correct it.
I’m drawn to teaching because I’m genuinely interested in how people learn and how a clear explanation can change someone’s confidence almost instantly. Watching a student move from confusion to clarity is a real measure of impact, and it’s the part that keeps me committed. Teaching also forces me to think sharply and communicate ideas in a way that actually lands, not just sounds correct. It’s a role where patience, problem-solving, and clear thinking matter, and those are qualities I value. Above all, it’s meaningful to help someone build skills that open doors for them, academically or otherwise.
My teaching journey has been about helping students move past confusion with clear, straightforward explanations. Over the years, I’ve worked with learners at different levels, refining a method that quickly identifies where their understanding breaks down and fixes it without overcomplicating things. My main achievements come from results: students gaining confidence, improving their performance, and learning to approach problems independently. Those outcomes shape how I teach and keep me committed to doing it well.
1.I’ve worked with roughly 40–60 students over the years, ranging from kindergarten, middle-school to senior-secondary levels. Most came from CBSE and ICSE schools, along with a few from state boards.
2. South Point, Lamartiniere for Boys, hirendra leela patranavis school, Indus Valley, Birla High school , Dps ruby park , BD Memorial international, Rammohan Mission High School (RMHS) etc . Students from both CBSE and ICSE boards. For state board i have students from Jadavpur vidyapith, kamala girls' school , Jodhpur park girls' High school etc.
3. Many of my students showed clear academic improvement after consistent guidance—they strengthened weak fundamentals, raised their test scores, became more accurate and confident in problem-solving, and moved from average performance to ranking among the stronger students in their classes. Several who initially struggled with core concepts eventually became steady, high-performing learners with a more disciplined study approach.
