Effective from 1 September 2026
For an adult Student or the parent/lawful Guardian managing tuition for a learner under 18
Plain-language summary
This Agreement applies when an adult Student or Guardian uses TuitionCorner to request, assess, start or manage ordinary marketplace tuition. Give a clear learning need, review the shortlisted Teacher, confirm the Demo and payment terms, supervise minors and keep important decisions recorded. For ordinary marketplace tuition, the Teacher supplies teaching independently. TuitionCorner supports matching, scoped verification, administration, communication and disclosed payment collection. We do not promise a perfect match, a free or successful Demo, fixed timing, marks, rank or another learning result.
Payment in one sentence: Pay only through the route and by the due date recorded in the Assignment Snapshot. TuitionCorner may collect the first month, or the first two month-end cycles, on the Teacher's behalf while the Teacher's Service Charge is recovered; later direct payment is allowed after TuitionCorner is informed and the route is recorded.
1. Parties, scope and document priority
This Agreement is between Pragyom Learning Private Limited, CIN U85500BR2025PTC075732, operating the TuitionCorner brand ("TuitionCorner", "Pragyom", "we", "us" or "our"), and the authenticated adult account holder accepting it ("you"). From 1 September 2026, Pragyom Learning Private Limited is the operator for migrated and new TuitionCorner accounts and services covered by the active documents.
This Agreement works with the TuitionCorner Terms and Privacy Notice. A specific accepted document controls the subject it expressly covers. The accepted Assignment Snapshot controls a particular tuition's Teacher, learner, scope, fee, schedule, payment route and stated exceptions. Separate Programme Terms control only the named programme. The remaining provisions continue where they do not conflict.
This V2 Agreement is for an adult individual Student or an adult parent or lawful Guardian seeking tuition for a learner. A coaching centre, institute, agency or business needs separate written terms. Pragyom-managed coaching, subscription or recurring-learning services are governed by their separately accepted documents.
2. Account holder, learner and authority
An adult Student manages their own account. A parent or lawful Guardian owns and manages an account used for a learner under 18 and confirms authority to provide necessary information, choose a Teacher, arrange payment and make service decisions. A minor must not independently accept this Agreement or privately manage a tuition arrangement.
One account may manage more than one learner. Keep each learner and requirement correctly identified so records and payments are not mixed. Protect passwords and OTPs, and tell support promptly if an account or verified contact may be compromised. An OTP proves control of that contact for a transaction; it does not by itself prove identity or guardianship.
3. Learning requirement and accurate information
Provide accurate class or level, board where relevant, subjects or skills, delivery mode, broad locality, schedule, budget basis, preferred teaching language and necessary learning-support information. Do not impersonate another person or post a false, duplicate or misleading requirement. Correct, pause or cancel a material change through support so applications, shortlists and records remain consistent.
Each ordinary requirement normally seeks one Teacher for all subjects selected in that requirement. If separate Teachers are needed, submit separate requirements unless Admin records another arrangement. A requirement is for personal learning use and may not be scraped, resold or used to recruit Teachers for an institute or agency.
4. TuitionCorner's role and no guaranteed outcome
TuitionCorner provides discovery, matching, scoped verification, administration, communication support and any payment facilitation expressly recorded. Ordinary marketplace Teachers are independent and supply the teaching. Registration, requirement posting, matching and ordinary family support are free unless a distinct paid service is clearly offered and accepted.
We may shortlist or introduce more than one Teacher, but the adult account holder decides whether to proceed. Matching uses available information and judgement; it is not a guarantee of suitability, availability, safety, continuity, admission, marks, rank, employment or another result. A programme-specific assurance applies only under its separately accepted terms.
5. Public and private requirement information
Public or sanitized requirement: a Requirement ID with class or level, subject, mode, broad locality, schedule or budget summary, without family identity or direct contact
Private: family and learner names, direct contacts, exact address, coordinates, school identity, documents, private notes, payment details and sensitive child information
Controlled sharing: private information shared only when necessary for an approved tuition, safety, payment or legal purpose and only with an authorized recipient
Keep exact addresses, child identity, medical information, school details and unnecessary personal information out of public descriptions. TuitionCorner may minimize or remove such content. A broad area such as Kankarbagh, Patna may be shown; a flat number or precise meeting address is shared only through a controlled operational step.
6. Teacher information, verification and selection
Families receive Teachers curated for the requirement rather than raw internal matches or private Admin records. A verification label applies only to the stated evidence and scope. It is not a complete background guarantee and does not promise teaching quality or future conduct. Private identity and qualification documents are not automatically shown directly to families.
Review the profile, ask relevant learning and availability questions, attend the Demo where used, and report a genuine mandatory need. Preferences do not become eligibility rules unless they are lawful, relevant and recorded. TuitionCorner may decline, pause or replace a shortlist where current eligibility, evidence, safety, availability or fit requires review.
7. Contact exchange and permitted use
Teacher and family private contact details may be exchanged only after both sides confirm interest and TuitionCorner approves the authorized operational stage. Precise service addresses should be shared only when reasonably needed for a Demo or class.
Use Teacher contacts, profile details and private information only for the approved tuition. Do not publish, resell, scrape, copy, retain unnecessarily, harass or use them for unrelated marketing or recruitment. Do not pressure a Teacher to leave the recorded workflow or to accept an unrecorded fee or payment identity.
8. Demo and official tuition confirmation
A Demo is a limited assessment or introductory teaching interaction. It may be free or paid only when the price, expected duration, mode, place, participants and material conditions are recorded or clearly disclosed before it occurs. A Demo does not guarantee fixation, a particular result or payment beyond the disclosed arrangement.
For the default marketplace Service Charge and the TuitionCorner Confirmed Tuition Programme, tuition is treated as officially fixed only after the first verified paid class is completed, unless a different accepted document expressly defines another event. A paid class means a class that is not free and for which payment has been received or becomes due under the recorded payment schedule. TuitionCorner may verify the class through attendance, payment and communications.
9. Assignment Snapshot, start and changes
Before or at confirmation, review the Assignment Snapshot or equivalent record. It may identify the Teacher and learner, subjects or skills, mode, location, schedule, start date, tuition amount and fee basis, payment route and due date, Demo terms, cancellation method and applicable document versions.
Confirm any error promptly. A material change to Teacher, learner, scope, fee, schedule, location, mode, payment route or participants requires agreement and operational recording while TuitionCorner supports the tuition. Admin confirmation controls the platform lifecycle after reviewing available evidence; one party's message alone does not automatically rewrite the record.
10. Fees, payment routes and receipts
Pay the tuition amount only through the payee, route and due date recorded for the assignment. Do not pay an unknown account or rely on an unverified link. If the payee, amount or purpose differs from the confirmed arrangement, pause and contact support. A payment is complete when the authorized recipient confirms cleared funds, subject to payment-provider reversal or fraud review.
10.1 Advance-payment arrangement
- The family pays the first month's advance tuition amount to TuitionCorner on the Teacher's behalf, according to the recorded due date.
- TuitionCorner may retain that amount toward the Teacher's accepted Service Charge. Payment through the official route discharges the family's tuition obligation for that collected amount, even though the commercial deduction is between TuitionCorner and the Teacher.
- From the second month onward, the family may pay the Teacher directly on the recorded advance basis after TuitionCorner is informed and the route is recorded.
10.2 Month-end arrangement
- TuitionCorner normally collects the first and second monthly tuition amounts from the family on the recorded month-end due dates.
- TuitionCorner may deduct the Teacher's Service Charge and remit the Teacher's balance under the Teacher Agreement. The family's obligation for the collected amount is discharged when cleared payment is confirmed through the official route.
- After the Teacher's Service Charge is fully recovered, normally from month three onward, the family may pay the Teacher directly after TuitionCorner is informed and the route is recorded.
Direct payment itself is allowed when disclosed and recorded. If direct payment occurs earlier than expected, report it promptly so the account and Teacher settlement remain accurate. TuitionCorner may issue a collection acknowledgement for money it processes; the Teacher remains responsible for any teaching invoice or receipt legally required.
Every platform or programme fee stated by TuitionCorner is tax-inclusive. If applicable tax must be separately shown on an invoice, it is included in the stated total and does not increase it. A Teacher programme fee or Service Charge is separate from the family's tuition price unless the accepted document expressly says otherwise.
11. Attendance, schedule, leave and continuity
Keep or confirm accurate records of scheduled and completed classes, attendance, duration, rescheduling and payments where requested. These records help settle payment, refund, programme and service disputes. Do not confirm a false Demo, class, attendance or payment record.
- Tell the Teacher and TuitionCorner promptly about unavoidable absence, delay or a material schedule change.
- A class missed because of the Teacher should be rescheduled by agreement or treated as unpaid on a reasonable pro-rata basis.
- A learner absence, late cancellation, no-show or long leave is charged only as stated in the accepted Assignment Snapshot; no automatic percentage charge applies unless that record expressly states one.
- A rescheduled class is not treated as cancelled when both sides agree and the record is updated.
- Neither side should abandon the tuition without reasonable notice, especially near an examination, except for an immediate safety, illness or emergency reason.
12. Cancellation, replacement and refunds
The family may ask to pause or cancel a request or assignment, subject to any accepted minimum engagement or cancellation term. Notify the Teacher and TuitionCorner promptly. Replacement is an operational effort and not a guarantee of another Teacher or fixed timeline. If the family stops after the first verified paid class, Admin reviews the guarantee status, attendance, payment and settlement facts case by case under the applicable documents.
If an assignment is cancelled during its first two months, the value of verified completed classes is divided 50% as TuitionCorner Service Charge and 50% as Teacher entitlement. Any family amount held for classes not delivered is refunded after verification and lawful deductions. The same completed-class split applies where cancellation follows Teacher fault or poor teaching, subject to mandatory consumer law and a case-specific remedy. Completed-class value is based on the recorded fee and attendance, using a reasonable pro-rata method if no per-class amount is stated.
Delivered classes and an expressly disclosed paid Demo are not automatically refundable because the family later changes preference. If money was paid directly to the Teacher, the Teacher is primarily responsible for any approved refund from that money; TuitionCorner may assist but does not automatically fund money it did not receive.
A refund approved from money held by Pragyom will be initiated within seven business days, normally to the original payment method. Verified alternative details may be used if that method fails. Bank or payment-provider processing time is additional.
13. Minors, supervision and a safe learning setting
The responsible adult must arrange suitable supervision, access and a safe teaching environment. For home tuition involving a minor, the Guardian should know when and where the class occurs, remain reasonably available and check the setting at appropriate intervals. Classes should not occur behind a locked door, on an isolated roof, in a vacant property or in another unsafe secluded place.
- Do not leave a minor in an unsafe setting or pressure the learner to use private communication that bypasses the Guardian.
- Do not request or share unnecessary identity, school, medical, address, account or payment information.
- Do not privately record or publish the Teacher or learner without the required informed permission.
- Report threats, harassment, discrimination, sexualized conduct, grooming, corporal punishment, fraud or another safeguarding concern immediately.
- For immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or public authority first and inform TuitionCorner when safe to do so.
14. Family and learner conduct
Treat Teachers and staff respectfully and provide a reasonable environment for teaching and learning. Use appropriate language, professional boundaries and learning-related communication. Do not attend a class under the influence of alcohol or unlawful drugs, smoke during a class, threaten anyone, discriminate, harass, make sexualized contact, damage property or use a Teacher's identity or work without authority.
Do not ask a Teacher to impersonate a learner, complete an examination or graded work, plagiarize, provide leaked material or support another form of academic dishonesty. A Teacher may explain concepts, review work and provide lawful guidance. Devices should be used during class only when reasonably connected with learning, safety or an agreed need.
15. Communications, reviews and optional publicity
Necessary account, requirement, shortlist, Demo, assignment, payment, safety and Service Case messages may be sent through verified Email, WhatsApp, telephone or the account. These operational messages are separate from optional marketing. Keep important selection, fee, start, pause and cancellation decisions in a form TuitionCorner can confirm.
Any registered user may submit a review. A submitted review is labelled Unverified by default until Admin verifies sufficient relationship or other evidence. Reviews must be respectful, based on a genuine experience and free of unnecessary private information. TuitionCorner may moderate, restrict or remove content for privacy, safety, illegality, abuse, irrelevance, manipulation or inadequate evidence.
Do not buy, fabricate, exchange, coerce or retaliate over a review. Public profile information, a photo, testimonial, learning work or review may be used in advertising or social media only after separate marketing consent. Material involving a minor requires the verified Guardian's permission and any additional protection required by law.
16. No concealed bypass or circumvention
After a TuitionCorner introduction, the family and Teacher must not intentionally conceal an assignment, Demo, continuation, payment or replacement arrangement to avoid the accepted Service Charge or recorded workflow. Direct payment to the Teacher is permitted when the recorded arrangement allows it and TuitionCorner has been informed. The breach is intentional concealment or circumvention, not a properly disclosed direct payment.
On credible evidence of bypass, TuitionCorner may temporarily restrict the account while reviewing the facts. The affected user should ordinarily receive a reasonable opportunity to explain unless law, safety, fraud prevention or evidence preservation requires different handling. If Admin confirms knowing participation by a family account, TuitionCorner may permanently block that account and immediately cancel its pending and active requests, subject to safe learner transition and settlement for verified delivered classes. Historical records are preserved.
TuitionCorner may claim reasonable compensation equal to INR 10,000 or its proven actual direct loss caused by the bypass, whichever is higher, to the extent supported by evidence and permitted by applicable law or a competent determination. This is not an automatic debit and does not replace proof where law requires proof.
17. Disputes, investigation and account action
In an ordinary Teacher-family dispute, TuitionCorner may record the case, collect information, assist communication and make an operational review. The primary teaching agreement remains between the family and Teacher. TuitionCorner is not a court or compulsory arbitrator, and its operational record does not remove either party's legal remedies.
We may request proportionate evidence, contact relevant participants, pause matching, contact exchange, payment or a request, and restrict or close an account for inaccurate claims, false records, safety concerns, unlawful conduct, misuse, repeated serious unreliability, intentional bypass, payment abuse or legal requirements. Material decisions should be recorded and may be reviewed through support where appropriate.
18. Liability and limited user responsibility
Nothing removes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The liability and force-majeure provisions in the TuitionCorner Terms apply. Where a proven loss is caused by TuitionCorner's own failure in relation to an affected assignment or service, our aggregate contractual liability is limited to the TuitionCorner Service Charge or programme fee actually received for that affected assignment or service, except where applicable law does not allow that limit.
You are responsible for direct loss or a third-party claim caused by your intentional fraud, illegal content, infringement of another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights, safeguarding breach or intentional bypass. Any indemnity applies only to that wrongful conduct, reasonable documented amounts and lawful process; it does not cover TuitionCorner's own negligence, breach or unlawful act.
19. Acceptance, changes, complaints and law
Acceptance is personal to the authenticated adult account holder and the version shown. It does not automatically submit or approve a requirement. Admin may qualify a requirement, run matching and prepare a shortlist while acceptance is pending, but no family-Teacher contact exchange, Demo scheduling, final assignment, fixation or tuition-start confirmation may occur until the current version is accepted. An Admin cannot accept it on the family's behalf.
The active public page shows its version and effective date. Material changes are issued as a new immutable version and reacceptance is requested where needed. Historical acceptance evidence is not rewritten. Payment, confidentiality, privacy, investigation, dispute, liability and account-record provisions survive cancellation or closure to the extent reasonably required.
For support or a trackable Service Case, use Contact Support, email contact@pragyom.com or call/WhatsApp 9830430075. Privacy, safety and consumer grievances may be addressed to Jayita Kayal, Customer Support Manager and Consumer Grievance Officer, at the same contact details. Registered office: B-Hub, New Dak Bungalow Road, Patna, Bihar - 800001. This Agreement is governed by Indian law, subject to mandatory consumer forums and other rights stated in the TuitionCorner Terms.
Acceptance statement
By selecting "I agree" or completing the recorded acceptance step, the authenticated adult Student or Guardian confirms that they had access to this Agreement, the TuitionCorner Terms and the Privacy Notice; understood the key payment, safety, conduct and privacy rules; and accepts the version identified above. Programme Terms and each Assignment Snapshot must be accepted separately where the workflow requires them.
